			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>As brought to attention by the <a title="International Economic law &amp; policy blog" href="http://worldtradelaw.typepad.com/ielpblog/2009/07/wto-report-dumping-is-good.html" target="_blank">International Economic Law and Policy Blog</a>, the 2009 WTO report states that dumping is good in most cases:</p>
<blockquote><p><em>In most circumstances, the welfare of the importing country increases as a result of dumping, as consumers and users of the product benefit from lower import prices, even though the reason for the reduction in price (the dumping) may vary.</em></p></blockquote>

<p>Of course, even if the WTO thinks dumping is OK, most governments and policymakers do not share this opinion. Companies must be sure to comply with Anti-Dumping Duties (ADD) if they choose to import a product into a nation which has determined the product is being dumped.</p>
